Warranty & Return
All e-bikes with the exception of batteries, are covered for one year under manufacturer’s warranty for the original owner against manufacturing defects.
Batteries with charger are covered for a period of 6 months.
Warranty coverage is valid starting the date of shipping with the following conditions:
- Only the original owner of an e-bike and conversion e-kit purchased from Swar-e online or physical storefront is covered by this warranty.
- Our warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of these components: defective lithium ion battery, motor, controller, wiring harness and lcd display.
- All Demo and pre-owned products are sold 'as is' and are covered by a 30-day limited warranty from the date of purchase. Furthermore, these products are not covered by our standard return policy and are not eligible for return.
- Warranty is applicable only in Canada and USA.
Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear & tear and Mechanical parts such as chain, brakes, tires, gear adjustment, loose screws or connectors are not covered under warranty.
- Damage due to neglect, abuse, improper assembly, improper or inadequate maintenance, tampering with the bicycle or electrical components, accidents, or noncompliant with the user guide or product warning labels, commercial use, stunt riding, extreme riding, installation of parts or accessories not originally intended or compatible with the e-bike as sold.
- Battery damage resulting from power surges, use of an improper charger, tampering, improper maintenance or other such misuse, extreme temperature (outside of operating temperatures listed on the user guide), normal wear, or water damage.
- Any products sold by Swar-E that is not an electric bike.
- All Swar-e products purchased online have 14 days right of exchange if the product is defective, damaged or received incorrect specification. We’ll either replace, repair or fix the product to the original shape. Product should be unused, unscratched, clean in the original package and resell-able to be eligible for an exchange.
- Swar-e bikes and conversion kits must be in great condition and free of any wear and tear, excessive dirt or scratches.
- Swar-e bikes and conversion kit mut be returned in original box and include all the items including the charges and lock keys. Return items with missing parts are subject to a fee.
- Packing and shipping expenses as well as any labor for fees involved in the customized order are not refundable.
- Request for a return by “Contacting Us” on our website and approval is required from our Technical team in order to initiate the return process.
